When Verity requested a location with flowers for her senior portrait session in September, I was stumped at first. Late summer is VERY dry here on the central coast, and instead of greenery and blooming flowers, what we mostly see are yellow and brown hills. Then I remembered that Old Edna in San Luis Obispo has lovely gardens and charming cottages. It turned out to be a perfect spot for Verity's session.
Old Edna had so many great backdrops for our portrait session. From cottages with picket fences and blooming roses to golden fields, we found tons of great spots for shooting which resulted in a wonderful variety of senior portrait images for Verity.

I really do consider it an honor to be selected to create senior portraits for my clients. I've known Verity for several years, and it was so fun and special to be her senior photographer. I really wanted to capture her quiet confidence and warm smile during her shoot. She is one of those people that I know will be successful in whatever she chooses to pursue.

I LOVE Verity's girly-girl style! She came to her session prepared with three different and lovely dresses to shoot in, and each of them worked so well for our location. Ruby Villalobos of Heritage Salon provided gorgeous, natural hair and makeup for Verity's session. And a bouquet of fresh sunflowers from the Avila Valley Barn and a vintage bicycle made this such a fun shot!
