For our second location, we drove to the nearby dunes in Grover Beach. Having two different locations gave us a great variety of final images.

Another great way to add variety to a senior portrait session is by choosing outfits that are varied in style and mood. Catherine did a great job of selecting three distinct looks for her session: sporty, romantic, and boho.

Each spring I start preparing for the upcoming senior portrait season, which usually begins in June and peaks in the late summer and early fall. I asked Catherine from Arroyo Grande High School to be my class of 2022 senior portrait model, and here are some of my favorite images from our shoot!
We chose two very different locations that were a short drive apart for this fun shoot. Location #1 was along the shops and restaurants in Pismo Beach. We found a great set of backdrops to use with lots of color and texture.
