Kylie was so fun and natural in front of the camera. I always try to put my clients at ease during their shoot so we end up with portraits that capture their true essence, but with Kylie, it was no effort at all. We got a great variety of portraits from serious faces to laughing and everything in between!
For her location, Kylie chose the Los Osos Oaks State Natural Reserve, a beautiful hiking area just outside the town of Los Osos. We had gorgeous, golden late-day sun filtering through the oak trees during our shoot.
After shooting in the oak forest, we drove to nearby Montana de Oro and got a few more shots at Spooner's Cove. As is typical for that area, there was dense fog and it was a little chilly there, but we were able to capture a completely different set of images and backdrops there before the sun went down.

Thank you so much Kylie for an awesome senior portrait session. What a great way to kick off my Class of 2020 senior portrait season!

This past summer was my busiest senior portrait season yet. I had a total of 27 Class of 2020 seniors in front of my camera! Now that I've submitted all of my clients' yearbook portraits and have processed most of their orders, I'd love to share a few senior sessions. My very first session of the Class of 2020 senior portrait season was with Kylie from San Luis Obispo High School.
After shooting in the oak forest, we drove to nearby Montana de Oro and got a few more shots at Spooner's Cove. As is typical for that area, there was dense fog and it was a little chilly there, but we were able to capture a completely different set of images and backdrops there before the sun went down.
