Downtown San Luis Obispo is one of my favorite shooting locations! I love the variety of buildings, colors, and textures. So when I was planning a fashion-inspired shoot with Kristiana, I knew it would be the perfect location. Within just a few steps there is such a range of different backdrops which makes it easy to get a variety of moods in the resulting images.
I love a good headshot, but I also LOVE the adorable store fronts in downtown SLO and I love a more pulled-back shot that shows lots of the environment!
Kristiana put together three amazing outfits from her own (extensive!) wardrobe for this fun shoot. Jenai's Jewels provided great earrings to compliment each look. And the talented Ruby Villalobos from Heritage Salon in Arroyo Grande styled Kristiana's hair and makeup. I'm in love with this menswear-inspired outfit on Kristiana! What a great contrast of masculine and feminine with the lingerie-inspired top under the blazer.

For outfit #2 Kristiana put together a striped body-con dress with high boots and a cute hat. It takes loads of confidence to pull off a look like this and Kristiana totally rocked it! She looks amazing in these images.
Kristiana's final outfit included a pop of yellow and sparkly purple oval earrings from Jenai's Jewels. So cute with a light wash denim jacket!
