I made sure to get a shot of Kalli's tattoo. "Pura Vida" (translation: pure life) is a saying that represents Costa Rica, a place that is special to Kalli and her family. They have visited several times and enjoy the beaches and surfing there.

Arroyo Grande High School Class of 2018 senior Kalli is a gorgeous California girl. And I love her freckles! Kalli chose Pismo Beach for her senior portrait session and the weather was perfect on the day of her shoot in early August. She did a great job selecting casual outfits that looked amazing on her and suited her beach location.
Pismo Beach is a great location for portrait shooting because the nearby dunes provide a second, very different background. We were able to get fun beach and ocean shots, but also portraits framed in the beautiful green and yellow foliage that grows on the dunes.
