September is an amazing time here on the Central Coast of California and a perfect month for a beach portrait session thanks to the fantastic weather and smaller crowds than during summer. So when my senior portrait client Justice requested a beach location for her session, I knew we would have beautiful conditions.

The day of our shoot was stunningly beautiful and wonderfully warm so we were able to keep shooting until just before sunset, taking advantage of the low tide. Thank you so much Justice for being such a fun and easy-going client! I hope your senior year is fantastic.
Justice is a senior at Mission College Prep in San Luis Obispo. She brought a couple of fun and beachy dresses to her session that worked so well at the Pismo Beach location we selected for her senior portrait shoot. I love her voluminous red hair and natural smile!
Don't be fooled by Justice's girly look in these images. She's actually a fierce athlete and member of Mission College Prep's volleyball team. Her jersey paired with white jeans was a great second look for her session. The bold blue MCP jersey contrasted so well with the soft colors at our rocky beach location.
